Oxford Exchange is one of the first restaurants I visited when I moved to Tampa 2 years ago, and it remains an iconic restaurant that I recommend to all of my friends and family when they come to visit the area. Something about the unique ambience with the restaurant itself being adjacent to a bookstore and a coffee shop, with the wide-open windows facing the University of Tampa just bring it such a nice sunny afternoon vibe, perfect for brunch. The food never ceases to surprise me. I've been here over a handful of times, each time ordering a different plate, but always leaving so perfectly satisfied with the flavor and portions. My friends have come here for a casual hang out over mimosas multiple times, and nobody ever says no to Oxford Exchange. If you have not tried Oxford Exchange yet, you definitely must.

Why aren't you sitting at a table yet? This place is amazing. Quaint and perfect. We had a friendly charismatic server Erin, we sat by the window in comfy cushioned wing back chairs and we ate and drank like kings. But the food and drinks are the real stars! Everything was perfect. Whipped feta with honey and pistachios on nan might be one of the best things I ever ate. Perfect brussel sprouts. Potato coin hash browns (never have seen that before). Amazing espresso martini made with espresso. Make a reservation no matter what time of day you go. Monday at 10:30am was packed. I could see why this place strives for perfection and they reach it!

I've heard about this place for so long and I finally tried it, I was pleasantly surprised! Everything we ordered was simply superb. I started with an Aperol Spritz which was very well balanced and made! I really liked it. Shoutout to the bartender! Our waitress recommended the Feta Dip that was actually so good with the pita bread I'd definitely order it again! We also tried the smoked salmon with bagels, it was good! But the star of the brunch was the French toast, best one I've had in years! Perfectly made! I could come back only to get those French toasts again! Ambiance and service was great! They were a little busy but still felt like they were on top of their game! One of the best brunch spots in the South Tampa area for sure.

We arrived just around opening time (during the week) which I'm glad we did because it was completely quiet. We enjoyed such a peaceful breakfast with wonderful service from Erin, she was so cheerful and pleasant. The building is beautiful, the decor is stunning and it really is just a stunning place to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks. The bookshop is beautiful too, the next time I come here I will take a look at what it has to offer. I highly recommend Oxford exchange for the vibes and the food.

Went recently for a special occasion after being recommended for 10 years, and I wish I had started coming ten years ago! When I dropped my car at the exchange parking (across the street for $10), the valet started the nice experience by mentioning on Sundays you could park there all day, and nicely recommended where to park to get the maximum shade. After walking into an unassuming building, I thought I was transported to another world! On both sides of the exchange are bookstores and there is a coffee lounge and wine bar should you have forgotten to make a reservation (you do need a reservation a day in advance at least). When we walked into the restaurant it was a buzzing but mindful crowd, all dressed (minus a few U of Tampa students) very well. The maiterde was very polite, and also recommended some seats by the window, which ended up being plush lounge chairs, compared to their others they have. The selection was on one side of a piece of paper, but everything looked delightful (and after going here once I think I need to start planning on how to eat my way through the menu). My wife got the pancakes, I got the salmon eggs Benedict, which came with a side of breakfast potatoes, and I got a side of sweet potato fries, and was given a garlic dip, and an orange dip as well (which blew my mind). We also ordered a hot chocolate and orange juice, which were not my cup of tea (pun intended) but I think they're more known for their boozy brunch drinks. My wife's pancakes were more or less a banana foster, without the ice cream, and very thick and heavy pancakes (they won, my wife and I lost to them). My eggs Benedict had a delightful English muffin to hold it up, with great ready eggs, and a hollandaise sauce that definitely had a mixture of chicken gravy (magnifique!). The potatoes that came with it were good, but.. get the sweet potato fries! Last but not least, when it came to price, it was as expected, but, is definitely the best brunch place in the area to spend this amount ($75 with tip, and no alcohol).

Before leaving Tampa, we headed to @oxfordexchange for brunch. Oxford Exchange is more than a restaurant. It's a champagne bar, a coffee shop, a candle-making gathering spot, a co-working space, and retail store selling high-end items like $95 tea saucers and $200 solid brass pepper grinders. It's like if Cracker Barrel had a well-to-do cousin that got an Ivy League education, studied abroad for a year, and now drinks their tea with a pinky raised. Needless to say, it fancy. I felt massively underdressed in my shorts and Darth Vader t-shirt. Reservations are highly recommended. Luckily we had them and saw the host turn people away that didn't have them. Those turned away were able to order small brunch plates at the coffee shop and sit at the many communal tables scattered throughout the space. After being seated and perusing the menu, we decided on a few small plates for brunch; smoked salmon dip, deviled eggs, and grits. The smoked salmon dip was topped with crispy capers, pickled shallots, tarragon caper aioli, and enough poppy seeds to light up a drug test. It's served with everything bagel chips. This dip was delightful. I loved the crispy capers. It was also served with house pickles which was nice when you scoop a dollop of salmon dip on the bagel chip and top it with a pickle. The deviled eggs were made with smoked Gouda and topped with bacon, pickled chilies, and chives. These were nice and had a little spice with those chilies. We also shared a bowl of stone ground yellow grits. These grits were topped with shredded aged white cheddar, bacon, chives, and a maple drizzle. I never put maple syrup on my grits before. Now before you say, "That's like putting sugar on grits!" it's not. It was a wonderful combo of salty and sweet and helped keep the grits from turning to spackle within seconds. Overall, Oxford Exchange a great spot for brunch if you're feeling fancy. Just make sure you make reservations on Open Table.

Always a good time at the Oxford Exchange for breakfast. Absolutely loved the brunch selections at Oxford. The 5-star service and food, reasonably priced menu, and great ambiance make it a top choice. There's so much to do while waiting for your table. The European-inspired design adds to the charm. You can visit the champagne bar, explore the book store, shop for jewelry, or even purchase gourmet loose teas. There's something for everyone to enjoy. I recommend making reservations in advance as it tends to get busy. When it comes to the food, the Brunch Flatbread with whipped boursin, gouda, sunny side egg, bacon, spinach, marinated tomato, and hot honey is to die for. The combination of flavors is absolutely delicious. Another must-try is the Omelet with ham, cheddar, scallion, tomato, and avocado crema. It's a perfect blend of ingredients that will leave you satisfied. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how good the Café con Leche was. The Oxford Exchange is a fantastic place for breakfast or brunch. The variety of options, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere make it a standout choice.

A Jewel of Culinary and Architectural Excellence! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Oxford Exchange, and let me tell you, it was an experience that surpassed all my expectations. As someone who appreciates exquisite taste and attention to detail, I was immediately struck by the every aspect of this establishment. Impeccable. THE BUILDING: From the moment I entered, I soaked in the architecture and interior design because it was stunning. What comes to mind is an elegant blend of modern and classic elements, creating a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. The high ceilings, beautiful lighting, and tasteful decor make it stand out. THE FOOD The food, however, was the true star of the show. Each dish was unbelievable; a masterpiece, prepared with the freshest ingredients and an evident passion for perfection. I'm not even kidding, there is an obvious perfectionist in the kitchen. The menu offers an array of options that seem to cater to both traditional tastes and adventurous palates (like mine). I ate outside and glad I did, it was too cute and temperature-controlled, so we didn't pass out in the summer heat. I can't stop talking about their Brunch Tower (check out the pictures in this review) TOP: mini frittatas, crispy fried chicken, applewood smoked bacon, sage sausage, and an amazing palette cleansing salad that made our tastebuds so very happy. MIDDLE of the Tower: decedent french toast with cinnamon rolls on the other side; both carefully decorated with sweet strawberries BOTTOM of the Tower: smoked salmon two ways Sorry, I couldn't stop taking pictures of it! The Oxford Exchange has their version of fortune cookies; they are well thought-out quotes from various books and complementary during the check process (pictured below)! Such a classy touch. The service was nothing short of impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, ensuring that our dining experience was flawless from start to finish. This place is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. Whether you're there for a casual brunch, a romantic dinner, or enjoying a cup of coffee in their charming bookstore, you can expect to be treated to a level of quality and care that is truly exceptional. A true gem in every sense of the word! Because every bite was a testament to the chef's exquisite culinary skills, I've been dreaming about it since I left two weeks ago. I live all of the way in the Lake Mary area and have to travel 2.5 hrs to Tampa to indulge. But something tells me that it will be worth the effort every time! Definitely swing by the next time you are in Tampa and thank me later.
